Universal Pictures International Entertainment (UPIE) has named Tom Boogaers as general manager of Universal Pictures Benelux, effective immediately.

Boogaers will be based in Amsterdam and reports to Pauline Grimaldi d’Esdra, the regional managing director for France and Benelux. 

Boogaers was previously general manager of the Benelux region for Samsonite Europe where he grew the direct contribution margin from 9% to 20% in five months

He previously served nine years with NIKE Northern Europe where he held various sales and marketing positions.
