Urban Distribution International is to handle international rights on Fundacao Cidade de Guimaraes, the new portmanteau co-directed by Manoel De Oliveira, Aki Kaurismaki, Victor Erice and Pedro Costa.
Urban Distribution is partnering with producer Rodrigo Areias on the project, which will be delivered later this year.
The film is being made to film to mark the status of Guimaraes in Northern Portugal as European Capital of Culture in 2012.
Feature is latest under film partnership between streamer and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin.
