The studio will handle worldwide distribution of the British filmmaker’s mystery title in summer 2017.
Untitled Christopher Nolan Film will open on July 21 2017 and represents a coup for Warner Bros, which split rights with Paramount on Nolan’s last film Interstellar but now has the upcoming release all to itself.
Studio top brass will be thrilled to continue their relationship with Nolan in wake of the recent departure of former motion picture group president and Nolan champion Jeff Robinov to set up Studio 8.
Warner Bros has handled worldwide distribution on all of Nolan’s major tentpoles excluding Interstellar, such as the Dark Knight trilogy and Inception.
