The company is reuniting with its End Of Watch collaborator and has optioned all rights to Stewart O’Nan’s novel The Odds: A Love Story.

Exclusive Media, run by co-chairmen Nigel Sinclair (pictured) and Guy East, will develop and produce with Le Grisbi Productions and LBI Entertainment and the producer roster includes Julie Yorn of LBI Entertainment and Christina Liao of Le Grisbi Productions.

The Odds: A Love story is a character-driven tale about a couple on the verge of bankruptcy and divorce who travel to Niagara Falls to gamble their life savings and rekindle their love.

Matt Jackson will oversee for Exclusive Media. Sylvie Rabineau of The Rabineau, Wachter, Sanford, and Harris Agency optioned the book.

“Stewart O’Nan has a unique literary voice and his novels are a perfect balance between humour and reflections on social interactions that seem so relevant today so we couldn’t be happier developing his latest novel into a feature film,” Jackson said. “We are also excited to be working with John Lesher again following our terrific experience with him on End Of Watch.”

“I couldn’t be happier to be working with my friend Julie and to be back in business with Exclusive Media on Stewart’s brilliant novel,” Lesher said.

Le Grisbi is lining up Blood Ties with producers Alain Attal and Vincent Maraval. Guillaume Canet will direct Clive Owen, Billy Crudup, Zoë Saldana and Marion Cotillard.

Yorn’s recent producer credits include We Bought A Zoo and Bride Wars.

Exclusive Media’s production and sales slate include Rush, So Undercover, Snitch, The Quiet Ones to be directed by John Pogue, Boneshaker in association with Cross Creek Pictures and the next The Woman In Black instalment, The Woman In Black: Angels Of Death.
