LD Entertainment has signed on to produce and finance Santa School.

Patrick Aiello, LD Entertainment CEO Mickey Liddell and Pete Shilaimon will produce the story of the search for a replacement for Father Christmas after the legend announces his retirement.

Karen Janszen wrote the screenplay. Aiello created the project and Jennifer Monroe and Patrick Raymond will oversee for LD Entertainment.

“Patrick brings with him over 20 years of production experience and we are honoured that he brought Santa School to us,” said Liddell. “We are excited to be making a family film and feel lucky to be working with a seasoned talent like Karen.”

Aiello recently produced As Above, So Below for Legendary Pictures as well as The Double. Janszen wrote A Walk To Remember and Dolphin Tale, among others.
