Parkes/MacDonald Productions and Condé Nast Entertainment will develop See No Evil based on a 2013 WIRED feature about a drug operation.

Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald will produce with Dawn Ostroff and Jeremy Steckler on behalf of Condé Nast Entertainment. Marc Resteghini serves as executive producer.

See No Evil tells the true story of Alfred Anaya, the owner of California stereo installation business, who was arrested after his secret compartments were used in drug smuggling operations.

Kurt Wimmer, whose credits include the upcoming Point Break reboot and Agent 13 as well as Salt, will adapt the April 2013 Brendan I Koerner article as a fictionalised version.

The film will be produced under the Parkes/MacDonald Imagenation banner incorporating Abu Dhabi Media Company.
