Stuart Townsend to play adventurer Fandral in Marvel's Thor

Stuart Townsend has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ Thor, which stars Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman and Samuel L Jackson and is being directed by Kenneth Branagh.

Townsend will play the adventurer Fandral, a member of the Warriors Three, a trio of Norse adventurers comprising Hogun The Grim and Volstagg The Valiant who fight alongside Thor.
