Epic Pictures Group have launched sales in Cannes on the animated action-adventure Space Dogs 2, the sequel to Space Dogs 3D.
The US-Russian co-production is being shot in stereoscopic 3D with Vadim Sotskov of Kinoatis and Sergei Sernov producing alongside executive producers and Epic partners and Patrick Ewald and Shaked Berenson. Epic is selling worldwide rights at the Marché du Film at Cannes.
In Space Dogs 2 the hounds blast off to the dark side of the moon to discover the source of mysterious occurrences on Earth.
Epic has also acquired worldwide rights to the Afghanistan-set war film The Patrol: Operation Herrick written and directed by Tom Petch, who produced with Petch and Tom Stuart producing for AFG Film Ltd.
Vikingdom 3D starring Dominic Purcell and Mall, a collaboration with the multi-platinum and Grammy award-winning band Linkin Park, screen in the market.
