Florida-based AMG Films has signed a five-year first-look deal with Warner Bros Home Entertainment Group for US and select territory television, DVD and digital rights.
The first film to be released through Warner Home Video is animated 3-D The Lion Of Judah, which is set to open in 1,000 domestic theatres this spring through Rocky Mountain Pictures.
Upcoming AMG titles include the $30m animated An African Tale, $10m surfer story Perfect Wave and dramedy Our Father.
“We are delighted this deal has come together and we welcome AMG’s high-quality slate of titles to the Warner Bros library – starting with the charming and family-friendly The Lion Of Judah,” WHV vice-president of marketing, theatrical catalogue Tom Lucas said.
