Longtime Lionsgate senior executive and strategist Amanda Kozlowski has been promoted to president of worldwide marketing at the studio’s motion picture group after serving as interim head of marketing.

The 18-year veteran will continue to report to Lionsgate motion picture group chair Adam Fogelson and will work closely with the group’s president Erin Westerman shepherding films from development to release.

As interim head of marketing, Kozlowski worked on Michael and The Housemaid – two of the studio’s current and recent smashes that have earned $430m (factoring in the international release through Universal), and close to $400m worldwide, respectively. Lionsgate International will commence pre-sales in Cannes on The Housemaid’s Secret.

Kozlowski also played a key role in the releases of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t and The Long Walk, and will play a key part in shaping the studio’s brand and franchise strategy on the John Wick, Saw, and The Hunger Games universes.

Prior to her current role she served as interim co-lead of theatrical marketing; led marketing for the studio’s limited-release theatrical and multiplatform business; and led marketing for Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

Kozlowski joined Lionsgate in 2008 as a junior brand marketing manager in home entertainment. Prior to that she held marketing roles at A.D.D. Marketing + Advertising and at Film Independent.

In addition to Kozlowski’s appointment, Lionsgate has promoted Nasim Cambron to EVP worldwide marketing and publicity, while Jack Teed is promoted to EVP worldwide marketing and creative advertising. Cambron will continue to report to Fogelson on studio communications.
