Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has crossed $400m at the global box office a week after it opened in the first wave of international territories.
The Marvel Studios/Disney release stood at $400.4m as of Thursday morning, having amassed $213.2m in North America and $187.2m internationally.
The UK ranks as the highest grossing market outside North America on $18.5m, followed by Mexico on $16.5m, France on $16,2m, Brazil on $11m, and South Korea on $10.4m.
Australia has generated $8.7m, India $7.9m, Indonesia $7.5m, Germany $7.4m, Italy $5.1m and Japan $4.8m.
Wednesday’s (November 16) international box office produced $11m from international markets and $8.1m from North America, a healthy mid-week, non-holiday addition that suggests the second weekend will see robust holds as Wakanda Forever coasts past the $500m mark.
Ryan Coogler directs and co-wrote the superhero sequel to his 2018 smash, which ended on $1.38bn worldwide, of which $700.4m came from North America and $681.8m from international markets.
