RTL Television and NBC Universal International Television Distribution have entered a new multiple-year licensing agreement.
Under the terms of the deal, RTL will have free television rights in Germany to a broad selection of current, library and upcoming NBC Universal features, television series, mini-series and TV movies, many of which will make their German free TV premiere on RTL.
Highlights will include the global hits Inglourious Basterds and Fast & Furious, as well as Bruno and the upcoming Wolfman remake starring Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins.
Additional titles are Judd Apatow’s Funny People and upcoming releases Cirque Du Freak based on the children’s fantasy books with John C Reilly, Salma Hayek and Ken Watanabe, and The Repossession Mambo starring Jude Law as a repo man who pursues customers who can no longer pay for their organs.
