William Dear directed the feel-good story of a lowly team from Monterrey, Mexico, that won the 1957 Little League World Series ending with a perfect final game. 

Clifton Collins Jr, Cheech Marin, Jake Austin and Moises Arias star and David Salzberg and Christian Tureaud produced. W William Winokur adapted the screenplay from his book.

Image plans limited theatrical distribution in spring and will release on DVD in late summer.

The company’s chief acquisitions officer Bill Bromiley negotiated the deal and said the film was more than an underdog sports parable that “illuminates the human spirit, the power of community and the heroics of everyday people making their dreams come true.”
