Conference will include talks from the likes of DECE’s Jim Taylor and Channel 4’s Edward Hall.

DVD Intelligence is planning a new event, London Video Rendezvous, for June 18.

The conference is aimed at authoring and post-production houses, content publishers, and distributors.

Technologies to be discussed include cloud-based UltraViolet, disc-to-digital services, digital copy, 3D conversion and delivery and Blu-Ray apps.

“No stone – virtual or physical – thrown at the creative community and their content-owning clients – will be unturned,” said Jean-Luc Renaud [pictured], conference organiser and DVD Intelligence publisher. “London Video Rendezvous is a fresh arena where the creative community, independent publishers and their service providers can engage in frank, plain- speaking, no-holds-barred discussion about developments vital to their livelihood, now.”

Speakers will include Jim Taylor of DECE, Channel 4’s Edward Hall, Berwick Post’s Steve Dann, BeeFree’s Fabien Remblier, Andy Evans of The Pavement, BBC Worldwide’s Lesley Johnson, and Andrew Elia of Arishi Media Technologies.

The conference will be held at the BFI Southbank, followed by a boat party on the Thames.
