Rome’s Cinecitta Studios is forging a partnership with U.S. based Montana Artists Agency to strengthen their global reach in servicing film, and media industries.

The venture will be led by Montana’s executive vice president Matt Birch. He will be charged to using the Italian tax incentive to promote the studios in the US.

“We were searching for a combination of practical production experience and studio production background. We want to reach our potential clients through professionals who intimately understand the below the-line-world and also the perspective of studio executives,” Cinecitta Studios General Manager Lamberto Mancini said as he made the announcement.

Cinecitta also owns and operates Dino Studios, just outside of Rome, and Umbria Studios.
