
UK writer-director-producer Richard Curtis is to deliver the Lord Richard Attenborough Memorial Address at the British Screen Forum, which takes place in London on November 19.
Curtis will speak on the role that impact producers can play in using screen entertainment to help drive positive societal change. His credits as a director include Love Actually, The Boat That Rocked and About Time, while he has also written Four Weddings And A Funeral, Notting Hill, Bridget Jones’ Diary, Mr Bean and That Christmas. He co-founded charity Comic Relief in 1985.
Also speaking at the event will be Andrew Bennett, Amazon Prime Video’s vice president of Europe and global distribution, Alison Lomax, managing director of YouTube, and BBC director-general Tim Davie.
