Kristin Scott Thomas, Matt Dillon and Julia Stiles are among the cast for Mike Figgis upcoming feature Seconds Of Pleasure, whilst Samantha Morton has taken on the lead in thriller The Mulo.

A series of emotionally charged events among a small group of people travelling together on a flight from Chicago to London is at the centre of Mike Figgis latest project Seconds Of Pleasure. The drama is based on a screenplay by Neil LaBute who is also producing alongside Margaret Enefer and Bill Shapter for Scottish Television (STV). Shooting is scheduled for next summer and Myriad Pictures has already acquired worldwide rights.

Matthew Thompson is lined up to directed the thriller The Mulo about a woman’s little boy who goes missing. His mother (Samantha Morton) tries to find him but suspects he may have been taken by an evil gypsy spirit. Christine Alderson is producing for Ipso Facto Films. Intandem Films handles international sales.

Abbas Kiarostami has started principal photography on his new film The End, a drama about the unusual relationship between a student, who works as prostitute on the side to pay for her studies, and a brilliant, elderly academic who is one her clients. The film is produced by France’s  MK2 and Japan’s Eurospace and stars Japanese actors Rin Takanashi and Tadashi Okuno. Shooting will continue for 8 weeks in Tokyo and Yokohama.
