Panorama Media and Samuel Hadida will partner on video game adaptation Castle Wolfenstein written and to be directed by Pulp Fiction screenwriter Roger Avary.

Hadida will produce through Davis Films Productions and Panorama’s Marc Butan and Kimberly Fox will represent world sales and are in talks with US distributors.

The project will be in the vein of Captain America and follows a joint US and British secret mission to infiltrate a Nazi stronghold patrolled by supernatural forces.

“I’ve been playing the Wolfenstein games since I was a kid, and feel that their outlandish sensibility has deeply influenced my own writing and directing throughout my career,” said Avary, who shared the 1995 screenwriting Oscar for Pulp Fiction with Quentin Tarantino.
