Screen International unveils online European production and financing database offering up-to-the-minute information to subscribers.

Screen International is proud to launch Screenbase, a new European production and financing database which is being made available exclusively to Screen subscribers starting this week.

The database covers European films in active development, pre-production, production and post-production with details of finance, creative elements, production companies, sales and status. The database is carefully curated to include only serious projects and initially covers the five key territories of UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy.

Other countries will follow Updated and expanded on a daily basis,Screenbase aims to offer an essential new service for the European industry, giving financiers and distributors a wide view of upcoming production, offering festival programmers a snapshot of the next two years of movie output and allowing constant updates and renewal to allow continual tracking of projects.

Users can cross-reference between each of the parameters be it country or genre, producer, financial backer or sales agent.
