The EM Media funded feature, about the bond between two best friends, has just started shooting in Nottingham.

Stephen Graham and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje are heading up the cast of David Blair’s Best Laid Plans, which began shooting in Nottingham this week.

Blair, who made the BAFTA winning TV series The Street, is directing the film, which explores how extreme violence tests the bonds of a friendship to the limit. The script has been penned by British writer Chris Green.

David O’Hara and Maxine Peake will also star in the feature, which is produced by Derbyshire based Made Up North productions and Moli Films.

The project is being co-financed by EM Media and AV Pictures, who will also handle international sales.

Shooting will take place in Nottingham and the East Midlands for four weeks.
