Executive producer Steven Spielberg, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will return for Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s Jurassic World Sequel.
The follow-up to Jurassic World, which has amassed more than $1.522bn at the worldwide box office and this week became the third biggest release in history, will open on June 22, 2018.
Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World, will co-wrote the sequel with Derek Connolly and serve as executive producer alongside Spielberg.
Universal did not say who would direct the film. Frank Marshall will reprise his role as producer.
