Former commercial director at Reed Midem to head up TF1 International.

Sabine Chemaly, a former Reed Midem executive, is believed to be on the verge of replacing Nicolas Eschbach as head of sales at TF1 International, French media reported on Wednesday.
 
French film trade Le Film Francais picked up a report on French audiovisual news site Satellifax that Chemaly would take over as head of sales on May 7, a week before the start of the Cannes Film Festival. Rumours of Eschbach’s imminent departure has been rife for some time.
 
Films on the TF1 slate at Cannes will include Claude Miller’s closing film Thérèse Desqueyroux andBrandon Cronenberg’s Antiviral.
