Sundance hit doc is about bare-knuckle fighting in Irish Traveller community.
Revolver Entertainment has taken on UK rights to Ian Palmer’s Sundance hit Knuckle.
The documentary is about bare-knuckle fighting in the Irish Traveller community.
Palmer produced with RISE Films’ Teddy Leifer.
Revolver’s CEO Justin Marciano said: “Knuckle is an extraordinary body blow of a movie that literally knocked us flat. We know this will have healthy opportunities to become one of the must-see films at British cinemas this year.”
“We’re thrilled to be working with Revolver,” added Leifer. “They’re a savvy bunch and I’m sure they’ll do a great job releasing Knuckle.”
The deal was negotiated by Leifer and Revolver’s Joel Kennedy.
As previously reported, remake rights have gone to HBO in a deal with CAA. ContentFilm has rest-of-world sales.
