Black Rabbit Film and the New Horizons Organisation are teaming up to bring American indie films to European Audiences at the American Film Festival in Wroclaw.
A new market event aimed at showcasing American indie films to European distributors, sales agents and festival managers, is being launched at this year’s American Film Festival in Wroclaw, which runs November 15-20.
The two day event, Gotham In Progress, has been set up by New York and Paris based Black Rabbit Film along with the New Horizons Association, the organisation behind the AFF and Poland’s international film festival, Era New Horizons, with backing from the City of Wrocław and Polish Film Institute.
Dubbed as the “first industry event devoted to US indies in Europe”, the event aims to expose European buyers to American indie films at the post production stage with a series of screenings and meetings.
30 key figures in the European acquisition business will be invited to the festival along with 10 producers/film-makers from the US.
