BFI hosts launch of Bradford, Bollywood film school collaboration

BFI hosts launch of Bradford-Whistling Woods International Film School.

Figures from the UK and Indian film industry gathered at the British Film Institute (BFI) in London yesterday for the official launch of Bradford College’s collaboration with top Bollywood film school - the Bradford-Whistling Woods International Film School.

Hosted by BFI CEO Amanda Nevill, guests included execs from Pinewood Studios and the Bollywood film industry, along with Bradford City of Film’s chairman, film producer Steve Abbott, and its director, David Wilson.

Mumbai-based Whistling Woods International (WWI) Institute for Films, Animation and Media Arts is ranked as one of the world’s ten best film schools

The new school, which will also offer courses in animation and photograpy, opens in September and students will have the option to visit Whistling Woods International in Mumbai, as part of their courses.

Bradford College is hosting open days on Thursdays June 27 and August 22 when prospective students can find out more about the courses. For more information, visit
