London-based sales company Visual Factory has taken on three new European features ahead of Cannes.
They are Grandfather Mountain (Narciso); The Silk Merchant’s Woman (Il mercante di stoffe); and Warriors of Chaos (Chaos Tage).
Italian title Grandfather Mountain directed by Marcello and Dario Baldi stars Roberto Herlitzka as a lonely old man in the Alps who gets a surprise visit from his estranged son and the son’s new Indian family.
The Silk Merchant’s Woman, also Italian, stars Roberto Somma in the story of a Western merchant who falls in love in a Sahara-based harem in the 1940s.
Tarek Ehlail’s German title Warriors of Chaos is about two punk rockers who get involved in the madness and violence of the scene.
