Bankside Films has taken on international sales for the Untitled Ramin Bahrani project, which is being produced by Christine Vachon and Pam Koffler’s Killer Films.

CAA will rep domestic.

Dennis Quaid and Zac Efron will star, with more cast to be announced soon. The film is set to shoot this summer. The story is about an ambitious farmer (Quaid) who wants to expand his empire but gets caught up in the genetically modified foods debate. Efron plays his rebellious son who would rather be a race car driver

Bahrani’s past films include Man Push Cart, Chop Shop, and Goodbye, Solo.

Financiers and executive producers will include Phil Hunt of Bankside Films, Rose Ganguzza, Moe Al Turki and Ron Curtis.

Justin Nappi and Brian Young will produce with KillerMoxie and Michael Benaroya of Benaroya Pictures, and Kevin Turen and Andrew Levitas will co-produce.
