Principal photography has commenced in Vancouver, Canada, on Stage 6 Films and Ghost House Pictures’ vampire sequel 30 Days Of Night: Dark Days.

Ben Ketai makes his feature directorial debut from a screenplay by the 30 Days Of Night graphic novel creators Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith.

Kiele Sanchez, Diora Baird, Rhys Coiro, Mia Kirshner and Harold Perrineau star in the film, which picks up the story a year after the Alaskan town of Barrow was decimated by vampires during its annual month-long sunset.

When a determined widow of one of the victims finds a band of lost souls plotting to exact revenge on Lilith, the vampire queen responsible for the assault on her town, she joins them in a desperate mission into the underbelly of Los Angeles to destroy the evil.

Stage 6 Films is a Sony Pictures Entertainment company. Sony holds worldwide rights to 30 Days Of Night: Dark Days.
