EXCLUSIVE: David Linde’s Lava Bear has teamed up with producers Chris Morgan and Paul Walker to develop an untitled action-thriller from writers Brandon and Kurtis Birtell. 

The story will follow a trained assassin who accepts a job from an elusive client and in the process turns himself into a target. President of production Tory Metzger will oversee for Lava Bear.

Brandon Birtell previously served as executive producer on the upcoming Walker action-comedy vehicle Pawn Shop Chronicles.

Birtell also worked Universal’s 2009 franchise hit Fast & Furious, which was written by Morgan and also stars Walker.

Brandon and Kurtis Birtell are represented by UTA, Thruline Entertainment and Gang, Tyre, Ramer and Brown. Morgan is represented by ICM and McKuin Frankel Whitehead, while Walker is represented by UTA and Snell & Wilmer.

Lava Bear recently began principal photography on The Rover directed by David Michod and starring Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson.
