Scottish director Justin Molotnikov’s second feature will be a contemporary noir thriller called Blood Or Water starring Stephen McCole, who played the lead in Molotnikov’s debut feature film Crying With Laughter about a stand up comedian in Edinburgh.

Greta Scacchi, Kate Dickie and Gary Lewis will also star in the film, which is being produced by Molotnikov and Claire Mundell’s Glasgow based production company Synchronicity Films. It is being co-developed by Molotnikov, Mundell and McCole.

Production is due to begin in Scotland in 2012.
