Rocky Russo and Jeremy Sosenko will adapt the Top Shelf Productions graphic novel about a family man who reverts to his 15-year-old body after a hypnosis course to stop smoking.

Red Crown Productions’ Daniela Taplin Lundberg and Daniel Crown are producing with Anthony Bregman of Likely Story (pictured), who initiated the project through his first-look deal with Top Shelf Comix. Stefanie Azpiazu and Riva Marker will serve as executive producers.

Too Cool To Be Forgotten is a story that demonstrates that comic books can be as profound and moving as they can be funny and entertaining, and that is exactly what this team hopes to replicate on the screen,” Bregman said.

Likely Story produced Stephen Frears’ Lay The Favorite, which The Weinstein Company acquired after the recent world premiere at Sundance.

Bregman also produced Laurence Kasdan’s Darling Companion, which SPC is scheduled to release in April, as well as The Oranges, which ATO plans to distribute in autumn.
