The Art Directors Guild and ASIFA-Hollywood handed out their major honours over the weekend.
How To Train Your Dragon 2 took a big leap forwards in the run-up to the Oscars as it scooped best film at the 42nd annual Annie Awards (January 31).
The honour, presented by the ASIFA-Hollywood, has been a solid predictor of Oscar success, highlighting the Academy Award winner every other year since 2006.
The Grand Budapest Hotel earned the ADG’s Excellence In Production Design For A Feature Film In 2014 – Period Film award.
Guardians Of The Galaxy triumphed in the fantasy film section, while Birdman took top honours in the contemporary film strand.
