During AFM NonStop took all rights to Matt Reeves’ fantasy-horror Let Me In for Scandinavia from Exclusive. The remake of Tomas Alfredson’s 2008 hit Let The Right One In (which took $1.6m in Sweden) is currently on release and has taken $16m worldwide.
The Swedish outfit also acquired Richard J Lewis’ San Sebastian audience award winner Barney’s Version for Scandinavia and the Baltics from Essential Entertainment. Starring Paul Giamatti, Dustin Hoffman and Rosamund Pike, the anticipated drama will be released in the US through Sony Pictures in December and by Universal in the UK, Germany and Spain, in early 2011.
“We are very happy with leaving AFM with three great titles that will strengthen our line up of 2011”, said Ignas Scheynius, CEO of NonStop Entertainment.
