Jason R Dudek’s sci-fi thriller is set to shoot in Los Angeles and also stars Taylor Handley, Margo Harshman, Beverley Mitchell, Tiffany Hines and Ryan Pinkston.

Mentryville is about friends who unwittingly stumble upon a top secret project to combat an airborne virus. Fiona Hale, CS Lee and newcomer Leebo Freeman round out the cast.

Producer Greg Strasburg said: “This is a high-concept sci-fi thriller film grounded in science; the scariest thing about this film is that everything in it is scientifically plausible.”

Strasburg founded StudioLine Entertainment in 2009 and Dudek joined as svp to had the creative department and new media division.

Production and distribution enterprise American World Pictures was founded by Dana Dubovsky and president Mark L Lester.
