EXCLUSIVE: Salaud Morisset has promoted Paul Jullien to head of sales, as the company expands its sales and operations team ahead of the Cannes Marché du Film (May 12-20).

Jullien will lead the sales team at the Paris-and Berlin-based firm, shaping the marketing and sales strategy and overseeing festival distribution across the company’s slate. He will also expand the company’s distribution of heritage titles, including the Wim Wenders collection and La Piscine, alongside new curated collections currently in development.

Jullien joined Salaud Morisset in 2021 as its first employee working across feature films, and has since progressed through the company, working recently as sales manager. Previously, Jullien worked for companies including Éclair, Arte and The Party Film Sales.

The company has also made changes to its team structure. Acquisitions lead Hugo Scheubel is expanding his role into sales across several territories including Germany, Austria and Switzerland, while Maxime Martin-Greguy has joined the sales team, having previously worked at Playtime and Solene Caradeux has joined as operations manager.

They work alongside the existing team of Emilie Boulay on sales, Alejandra Carvajal Bello on festivals, and Gregoire Feron on servicing.

Salaud Morisset’s current lineup includes two Cannes titles: Rakan Mayasi’s Un Certain Regard entry Yesterday The Eye Didn’t Sleep, which sold to France earlier this week; and Eivind Landsvik’s Directors’ Fortnight title Low Expectations. The company is also representing Teodora Ana Mihai’s Berlinale Special Gala Heysel 85 and Walter Thompson Hernandez’s Sundance 2026 title If I Go Will They Miss Me.

“In what can often feel like an anxious moment for both the world and our industry, we are making a clear bet on people and on the next generation,” said Salaud Morisset founder and managing director Francois Morisset. “Paul embodies that evolution. He is one of the most complete profiles of his generation, with a rare, hands-on understanding of a film’s journey. Having grown with the company from its early days on features, he brings both rigor and creativity to how we accompany films and filmmakers, in line with the selective, deeply involved approach we’ve been building.

“We’ve been fortunate to grow alongside the filmmakers we supported in short films, many of whom are now stepping into features,” added Morisset. ”As they evolve, we are evolving with them, strengthening a team I believe is among the most engaged and forward-thinking in the market, and preparing to unveil a slate of exciting new projects in the coming months.”
