‘Everybody To Kenmure Street’

The 15-strong feature lineup for the third edition of Sundance Film Festival: CDMX in Mexico City (April 30 to May 3) will include Everybody To Kenmure Street, The Invite, and Chasing Summer.

Mexico-based exhibition major Cinepolis and Sundance announced the selection culled from 2026 Sundance Film Festival on Thursday morning.

Besides Josephine Decker’s Chasing Summer and Olivia Wilde’s The Invite, which A24 acquired in Park City, the programme features Adam Meeks’s Union County; Giselle Bonilla’s The Musical; Ian Tuason’s Undertone; Natalie Erika James’ Saccharine; and Walter Thompson-Hernández’s If I Go Will They Miss Me, which Rich Spirit acquired for the US and select territories.

The eight documentaries include Felipe Bustos Sierra’s Everybody To Kenmure Street, which Icarus Films picked up for North America, as well as David Alvarado’s American Pachuco: The Legend Of Luis Valdez; The Oldest Person In The World from Sam Green; Nuisance Bear from Jack Weisman and Gabriela Osio Vanden; One In A Million from Itab Azzam and Jack MacInnes; Amir Bar-Lev’s The Last First: Winter K2; The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist, from Daniel Roher and Charlie Tyrell; and Tamra Davis’s The Best Summer.

“These films premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival to great reception and our team is pleased to take them to Mexico City, where we’ve enjoyed connecting with a vibrant film-loving community for the past two years,” Kim Yutani, Sundance Film Festival director of programming, said.

The short film programme comprises six selections: Sorrow Doesn’t Sleep At Night from Josefina Montino and Martín André; Marga En El DF from Gabriela Ortega; Albatross from Amandine Thomas; Norheimsund from Ana A. Alpizar; Once In A Body from María Cristina Pérez; and Eduardo Braun Costa’s Mentirosos,

The five participating venues are Cinépolis Diana, Cinépolis Plaza Carso, Cinépolis VIP Miyana, Cinépolis Mítikah, and Cinépolis Oasis Coyoacán.
