Revolver Entertainment’s production arm is looking to appoint a sales agent for the project in Cannes.
Gunslinger, the production arm of UK distributor Revolver Entertainment, has signed up Ron Scalpello to direct the company’s next feature film, Feltham.
Dubbed as a “British Une Prophete for the youth audience”, the film tells the story of Tommy who instigates his own incarceration to Feltham, a notorious young offender’s institute, in order to avenge the rape of his girlfriend.
Produced by Revolver’s Nick Taussig [pictured] and written by Paul Van Carter (Shank), it is set for a late summer shoot in London.
Now in the process of casting, Taussig is looking to appoint an international sales agent during Cannes.
Revolver’s CEO Justin Marciano said: “This is our fourth British film in under two years to come out of our Gunslinger production team. Along with our 10 British film releases out of 12 so far this year, we’re continuing to prove that we are unrivalled in our support of the UK film production sector.”
Revolver has also boarded Ron Scalpello’s second feature Here Comes The Summer, which is being produced by Andrea Cornwell and Alan McKenna. Scalpello and McKenna co-wrote the screenplay about the early 1980’s unrest across the inner cities of Britain. Shooting is due to begin later this year.
