Filming has wrapped in New York on Cinemavault’s drama Somewhere Tonight.

Writer-director Michael Di Jiacomo’s film stars John Turturro and Katherine Borowitz and is inspired by the murdered Dutch film-maker Theo Van Gogh’s 1996 drama 06.

Somewhere Tonight is an urban fable about two lonely New Yorkers who find companionship over an adult chat phone line.

Bruce Weiss, Gijs van de Westelaken and Tom Mangan are producing and Nick Stiliadis serves as executive producer.

Cinemavault has international rights and will screen footage in Cannes. A-Film will distribute in Benelux.
