Hyde Park International chief Mimi Steinbauer has picked up international sales on Big Beach and Likely Story’s the upcoming all-star ensemble comedy My Idiot Brother.

Jesse Peretz is currently shooting in and around New York City and the cast includes Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, Emily Mortimer, Steve Coogan, Hugh Dancy, Rashida Jones, Kathryn Hahn, TJ Miller, Shirley Knight, Janet Montgomery and Adam Scott.

Big Beach is financing and partners Marc Turtletaub and Peter Saraf are producing along with Anthony Bregman of Likely Story.

Rudd plays an idealist who stays at each of his three ambitious sister’s homes and brings merry chaos into their lives.

Evgenia Peretz and David Schisgall wrote the screenplay and Caroline Jaczko, Stefanie Azpiazu and Aleen Keshishian serve as executive producers.

“Anthony, Peter and Marc are incredibly talented producers with track records that speak for themselves so we are thrilled to be a part of this team,” Hyde Park Entertainment chairman Ashok Amritraj said.

“Ashok and Mimi coming on board is like adding to our star cast,” Saraf said. “We’ve been wanting to work with Hyde Park for a long time and are thrilled to partner with them on this one.”

Hyde Park International’s slate includes Machete and Blue Valentine, which are screening at Venice and Toronto, respectively.
