The bestselling author and her Chances Inc has teamed with Amber Entertainment to adapt her forthcoming novel Confessions Of A Wild Child.

Collins will adapt the novel and produce alongside Ileen Maisel of Amber Entertainment.

The pair are embarking on a worldwide search for an actress to play the young Lucky Santangelo, the protagonist in the upcoming prequel to Collins’ Lucky Santangelo novels.

Confessions Of A Wild Child follows Santangelo at the time when she was 15 and escapes from boarding school and enters a world of boys, drugs and family drama.

The book will be published on February 4 through St. Martin’s press.

BKM Management and Amber Entertainment brokered the deal.
