“I remember falling in love with Lloyd Dobler when I first watched Cameron Crowe’s Say Anythingand I had that same feeling reading Gavin’s script, and getting to know George,” Dana said. “George is the Lloyd Dobler of his generation.”

“We worked with Emma on Jim Strouse’s The Winning Season and are amazed by her talent, her humour and her charm,” Baker and Walsh said. “Pairing her with Freddie Highmore, who won everyone over in Finding Neverland, makes for a perfect match.”

“This is a labour of love for all of the producers who got together on this project,” Goldberg said.  “Gavin is a great new voice who captures the essence of falling in love for the first time perfectly and gives us a nostalgic look back at high school here as well.”
