Watch the trailer above for animation contender Out Of The Nest, which had its world premiere at the Annecy International Animation Festival.
The film is the feature directing debut of Disney animation stalwart Arturo A. Hernandez (Tinker Bell, Planes), who also co-wrote the script with Gillian Berrow.
Pixar veteran Andrew Gordon (Toy Story 3, Finding Demo) is executive producer, alongside Nathawat Ahriyavraromp, founder of Thai entertainment company T&B Media Global.
The story revolves around a plan by dark forces to kidnap the royal heirs and force the prince to abdicate his throne to an evil wizard. Help comes in the unlikely form of a teenage goat called Arthur, who becomes the protector of the seven rambunctious royal hatchlings. They will have to work together to defeat the dark wizard and save the kingdom.
The film is a Thailand-China co-production involving T&B Media Global, and visual effects and animation company Base Animation, whose credits include Netflix animation Wish Dragon.
