Leslie Mann will play the female lead opposite Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman in Universal’s The Change-Up, a body-swap comedy to be directed by David Dobkin.

Universal has set an August 2011 release and executive vice-president of production Scott Bernstein and director of development Maradith Frenkel will oversee the project for the studio.

Neal Moritz will produce alongside Dobkin from a screenplay by The Hangover’s Jon Lucas and Scott Moore about a family man who accidentally swaps bodies with his best friend, a single, slacker actor. Olivia Wilde will play Bateman’s love interest.

Mann’s credits include Funny People, Knocked Up and The 40 Year Old Virgin.
