Seeking to step up its production efforts, The Solution Entertainment Group has brought on the Circle Of Confusion executive as evp of acquisitions and development.
Emery will report to co-founders and partners Lisa Wilson and Myles Nestel and focus on the development of commercial, high-calibre features to produce and finance in-house.
He will also source third-party titles for the international sales slate.
At Circle Of Confusion Emery assembled a production slate and served as executive producer on action comedy Mr. Right and horror film Satanic.
Prior to that he ran Bill Gerber’s production company at Warner Bros, served as the production executive at Gale Anne Hurd’s Valhalla Motion and worked at Focus Features on Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind and 21 Grams.
