Last year’s Agak Laen, a hit comedy about four bumbling friends who run a haunted house attraction at a night market, became a runaway success when it recorded 9.1 million admissions at the Indonesian box office — becoming the third-biggest local film to date. This sequel is again produced by Imajinari (see feature, overleaf) and reunites director Muhadkly with comedy actors Bene Dion Rajagukguk, Boris Bokir Manullang, Indra Jegel and Oki Rengga, who now play undercover police officers working in a retirement home. A local release is planned for November.
