Screen can reveal the first trailer for Tribeca International Narrative title Woman On The Roof, written and directed by Polish filmmaker Anna Jadowska.

Dorota Pomykala plays a woman living a seemingly normal life until one day she wakes up and decides to rob a bank with a kitchen knife. She discovers the only thing she needs more than money is love. Bogdan Koca and Adam Bobik also star.

The film won Screen International’s Best Pitch Award at last year’s Polish Days during the New Horizons International Film Festival in Wroclaw.

It is a Poland-France-Sweden co-production between Maria Blicharska of Warsaw-based Donten & Lacroix Films with Paris-based Blick Productions, Arte France Cinéma, and Sweden’s GarageFilm.

Loco Films is handling international sales and introduced the title to buyers at Cannes last month.
