Bent Outta Shape Productions and Mac Vision Entertainment are assembling their upcoming rom-com Ship Wreck’d and have brought in Bentley Evans to serve as executive producer.

Evans created the television show The Jamie Foxx Show and will serve alongside writer-director Richie Mac on the project about a man who undergoes a mid-life crisis on a cruise ship as marriage and business get in the way.

Ship Wreck’d is in pre-production and is set to begin principal photography in early 2011.

“We are thrilled to have a creative veteran like Bentley Evans join our project,” Mac said. “This collaboration has been a long time coming, and teaming up brings an additional element of comedic sensibility to the production.”
