The genre director behind 1408 and The Rite will direct the thriller about a sociopath without any sense of fear.

Exclusive Media Group will produce and finance the project for the company’s Hammer label, Exclusive co-chairmen Guy East and Nigel Sinclair and Hammer Films president and CEO Simon Oakes announced last night [6].

Exclusive Films International president of international sales and distribution Alex Walton will handle worldwide sales alongside East.

Christopher Borrelli wrote the screenplay and Matt Sand wrote a new draft. Hammer will produce with Circle Of Confusion, H2F and Slingshot. 

David Alpert of Circle Of Confusion and Chris Cowles of H2F will produce and Stephen Emery of Circle Of Confusion, H2F’s Chris Fenton and Slingshot’s Arvind Ethan David will serve as executive producers.   

“Mikael Hafstrom has a proven track record for making high quality intelligent films,” Exclusive’s head of production Tobin Armbrust said. “We are thrilled to have him at the helm of this latest film from Hammer.”

Shira Rockowitz will oversee the project on behalf of Hammer and Exclusive.
