The online service has teamed up with Cinema Du Reel, CPH: DOX, FID Marseille and the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival to add a collection of festival docs to its offering.

Festival Scope is to extend its offering to include documentaries, by partnering up with Cinema Du Reel, CPH: DOX, FID Marseille and the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival.

Films from the 33rd edition of Cinema Ru Reel, which is currently taking place in Paris, will be available for registered film profressionals to watch online via Festival Scope, including Stefano Savona’s Il Palazzo Delle Aquile, Lee Anne Schmitt’s The Last Buffalo Hunt and Ben Rivers’ Slow Action.

A selection of films from the recently held Thessaloniki Documentary Festival (March 11-20) will also be available through the online screening service, as well as documentaries from FIDMarseille which takes place in July and Scandinavian documentary festival CPH: DOX which runs November 3-13.

Festival Scope launched last year as an online service to help rights holders and festivals to take their films to a wider industry viewing base.

It recently partnered with the Berlin Film Festival’s Panorama and Forum sections as well as working with over 30 festivals worldwide including the IFFR Rotterdam, Cartagena and the Melbourne Film Festival.
