The film is being produced by Dean Fisher for Scanner Rhodes Productions, with backing from Northern Film & Media.

Luke Goss, the popstar turned actor who has appeared in Hellboy II: The Golden Army and Shanghai Baby, is to star in UK feature Interview With A Hitman, alongside Stephen Marcus and Rene Zagger and French actress Caroline Tillette.

Perry Bhandal has written the screenplay and will direct the feature which centres around a Romanian assassin who escapes to London to start a new life only to find himself in the midst of a vicious underworld power struggle. Shooting is now underway in Newcastle.

Dean Fisher is producing for his company Scanner Rhodes Productions, with backing from Northern Film & Media. Fisher recently produced The Man Inside, starring Peter Mullan, which also shot in the North East of the UK.

Kaleidoscope Film Distribution will handle sales and distribute in the UK.
